iBeta announced Level 3 PAD testing in June, as an extension of its popular testing program for compliance to the ISO/IEC 30107-3 standard. Yoti is the first biometrics company to successfully pass a Level 3 presentation attack detection (PAD) compliance assessment from iBeta Quality Assurance. Attacks are carried out with sophisticated presentation attack instruments (PAIs), such as resin masks costing thousands of dollars. 108 companies have passed iBeta’s Level 1 PAD test and 66 have Level 2.
