Networks also generate continuous, real-time behavioral and device signals, such as SIM change recency and frequency, and device-to-number mismatches. Both types of information are extremely difficult to spoof, making it impossible for malicious actors to pose as genuine users at the network level.When streamed in real time, these signals can equip enterprises with the updated intelligence they need to discern between real and fake subscribers. Requests from invalid numbers, abnormal formats, or recently changed SIMs can be filtered out, and subscriber identities can be compared against carrier KYC records to establish if a transaction is genuine or not.
