Instead, accounts verified by third parties display a unique icon beside their name, indicating the verifying entity. Users can view details about the verification by clicking on the profile, which reveals the verifying service and the reason for verification. To become a third-party verifier, services must have an official bot verified by Telegram and complete an application process. While Telegram has not publicly disclosed a comprehensive list of approved third-party verifiers, it has provided examples suggesting that regulatory bodies, educational consortiums, and other authoritative organizations may serve in this capacity. For instance, a verified account might display a message like, "Verified by the Learning Standards Authority for quality language education.
