The Romanian state remains the owner and administrator of the ecosystem, and Mastercard has the exclusive role of service provider. The partnership with Mastercard Europe, a company with solid experience in the field of digital identity that has operated such solutions in many European countries, represents a framework of technical cooperation and does not involve costs for the public budget.
