As of July 17, 2025, Roblox expanded its use of Persona for age verification, particularly for teens aged 13-17 to access "Trusted Connections," which allows for less restrictive chat features. This expanded implementation includes age estimation through video selfies, with the option for ID verification if the age estimation is not confident.
