Uber already runs Regula 7029 document verification workstations in its verification centers, which examine identity documents under ultraviolet, infrared, and white light to detect forged or altered credentials and create auditable records. The newly added Regula 7320 mobile document readers bring the same checks into the field, allowing verification at temporary points or in new locations that lack full infrastructure.
