According to the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, a total of 1,614,772 Jordanians have activated their digital identity through the “Sanad” app to date. Sanad allows users to access services with a unified username and password, instead of managing multiple credentials for different government platforms. To activate the digital ID, users must either visit a Sanad station or activate it through their bank account using a supported banking app, which enables ID activation without needing to visit a physical station.
