Incode acquires Identiq, invests $100 million in privacy-preserving identity infrastructure

2026-06-25  Per Henrikson

Identiq had previously raised more than $50 million, and the deal positions its patented technology as the third pillar of Incode's Privacy by Design architecture alongside AI-first identity verification and on-device processing. The deal fits a wider pattern of identity platforms consolidating to address AI-era fraud, alongside Experian's Agent Trust launch with Visa, Cloudflare, and Skyfire and Cyera's acquisition spree across endpoint DLP and runtime data security, with Incode also completing an independent adversarial penetration test of its biometric injection attack detection earlier this year.
