Facephi announced that it has been certified under the Pan-Canadian Trust Framework (PCTF), as part of the "Verified Person" component at assurance level LOA2, by the Digital ID and Authentication Council of Canada (DIACC). This certification follows an audit conducted by an independent third party. The service is now listed on the DIACC's Trusted List, the public registry of identity services that have met the compliance criteria applicable in Canada. According to the company, PCTF certification is not based on self-declaration: an accredited auditor examines the service against published criteria, independently verifies the conclusions before any certificate is issued, and then publishes the result.
