Keyfactor Raises Over $1 Billion, Repricing Machine Identity as Core AI Infrastructure Ahead of the 2030 Post-Quantum Deadline

Keyfactor sells three connected capabilities. AgileSec inventories an organization’s encryption keys and cryptographic assets and flags weaknesses such as hardcoded keys, stale keys, and vulnerable algorithms. EJBCA lets a company operate as its own certificate authority, issuing certificates across millions of devices without a third party and supporting code signing. Command Center automates certificate renewal to prevent outages when certificates expire. The company positions these under a unified “Trust Control Plane” rather than as point tools, which is the same platform-consolidation thesis driving Snowflake’s Natoma acquisition and Barracuda’s Evo deal.
