Businesses will be able to use myID to verify customer identities, while accredited private Digital ID providers will also be able to offer competing Digital ID services through the government framework and charge commercially for their products. According to the federal government, there are now 264 government services that support Digital ID, including 155 Commonwealth services and 109 state and territory services.
